Coping
Coping can be used to cap and finish off walls, possibly placing a finial, like a ball or pineapple at the end of the wall. Copings can have a drip slot to protect walls from water running down them. They can be made in different depths, widths and designs suitable for dwarf walls and parapet details among others and some can be produced curved.
Chilstone manufacture a wide variety of coping in different styles to suit the scale and application where they are to be used. Likewise in this range we can also supply quoins and string courses for new builds. All are cast in depths and lengths to suit site requirements for easy installation.
Gate Piers
Chilstone manufacture a selection of standard gate piers that can be put together in many combinations to suit the required height and size of your gate piers.
For a stud in Kildare we have supplied gate piers to form a curved entrance where curved coping for railings fits in between the piers. Here the piers are finished with a ball, other types of finials are available such as pineapples, eagles or urns with tops. If you are building gate piers from brick or to be rendered we can supply the caps, for sizes and details please see: https://www.chilstone.com/architectural-stonework/gate-pier-caps
Coping, gate piers, quoins and string courses are made to order and to your required measurements. Production and delivery can take 6-8 weeks depending on time of year.
