Add structure to your garden now to keep winter blues at bay

IDEAS FOR STRUCTURES

When the leaves are gone and the bare branches are silhouetted against a wintery sky, it makes sense to have other structures in your garden to heighten your interest and to create beauty in the surroundings.

So I strongly recommend the installation of a large urn, statue, balustrading or columns to make a pergola.  These stone items will remain through the winter, casting light and shadows in interesting aspects over your garden while the sun remains low in the sky.  Here are a few ideas of how to use cast stone columns.
